THE CHEESE IMPRESARIO IS GOING VIRAL
 
I’m ecstatic to report that I’ve teamed up with Small Screen Network to produce a web-based video series on all things cheese, aptly named, CHEESE RULES.  I’m so excited to have found a new medium in which I can share my passion with cheese lovers everywhere.  On CHEESE RULES, I have videos on “What is Cheese”, “How to Store Cheese”, “To Rind or Not to Rind”, “How to Taste Cheese”, and “How to Throw a Cheese and Wine Pairing Party”.   As I am especially interested in pairing cheese with unusual beverages,  I have included videos on “Cheese Pairing with Cachaça” and “Cheese Pairing with Mezcal.”  I just finished shooting a new series of episodes.  It was totally fun.  I paired cheese with Aquavit, Rum, Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Belgian Beer and even Coffee.  It’s in the editing stages now so check back soon to see the new shows.
 
I’m excited to share my knowledge of cheese so together we can take a ride down The Cheese Highway.

San Diego will be awash with all kinds of spirits at the San Diego Spirits Festival June 25 and 26th.  I’ll  be there conducting her Artisanal Cheese & Single Malt Scotch Whisky Pairing Adventure Seminar at noon on Saturday June 25th.   The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier is the venue this year and it should be beautiful with the San Diego Bay sparkling all around us.   My teaching buddy is Diagio’s Ed “Dirt” Adams, Master of Whisky.   We’ll be turning people on to the thrill of pairing artisanal cheeses with a selection of whiskies from Scotland.   Come and rock out with us!

This is an event not to miss.   The Awards Ceremony celebrates the best if cheesemaking creativity and skill.   This is the Oscars of Cheese.
